Charity concert

The Alzheimer’s Disease Association (ADA) is organising a charity concert entitled “Love for All Seasons” on October 25, 2018 to raise funds for ADA’s programmes and services. Performed by music veterans Angela Saik, Robert Wesley Seng and Donnie Chan, this three-piece band will be belting out well-loved melodies of yesteryears in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.

This concert is also extended to persons with dementia and their caregivers; allowing them to reconnect with the community while enjoying the familiar melodies. After all, music plays a huge part in reminiscence therapy and would no doubt bring back fond memories that can provide comfort and joy, ensuring quality of life not only for people living with dementia, but also their loved ones.

This fundraising initiative also aims to create awareness to reduce stigma and understanding of dementia, with the aim of enabling and integrating persons with dementia in our society.

Donate $50 to ADA and receive a concert ticket to “Love for All Seasons” (free seating). Donations are eligible for 2.5 times of tax deduction. Get your tickets now by calling 6389 5103 or e-mail alicewong@alz.org.sgby October 19.
