Access to cancer information

Voluntary welfare organisation Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) is collaborating with BookDoc, allowing cancer-related information and services offered by SCS at no cost such as Pap smear, mammogram and Faecal Immunochemical Test to be searched through BookDoc’s free apps and website, BookDoc.com, anytime and anywhere. BookDoc is an online healthcare platform with a presence in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand.

Talking about the collaboration, CEO of SCS, Albert Ching (left as shown in the picture), said, “Early detection of cancer and immediate treatment greatly favour the chances of recovery. SCS is glad to have a new partner to support our efforts in battling cancer. This partnership with BookDoc will further aid us in reaching out to more people. It enables users to efficiently search for cancer screening services such as mammogram and Pap smear at a SCS centre closest to home. Users can also conveniently call the centre to make an appointment.”

Dato’ Chevy Beh (right as shown in the picture), founder and CEO of BookDoc, added: “Our search and book platform serves not only the users who want to assess health services themselves, but also those who want to book for their loved ones. After which, the users could easily locate SCS’s centres on the map, navigate or hail a ride even for their loved ones.”

The “BookDoc” app is downloadable for free on Apple App Store (for iOS) and Google Play Store (for Android).
